THIS is the moment armed police arrive on board a plane to haul a 7ft volleyball player off a cut price airline – for being too tall.
Flight attendants are said to have argued that star Alexander Kimerov, 20, was blocking the aisle with his very long legs.
The crew from Pobeda airline called the police and three uniformed officers removed him from the service from Novy Urengoy in Siberia to Moscow.
Kimerov reportedly tried to swap to another seat but was refused by a flight attendant, even though he had flown the route previously.
Moscow Dynamo volleyball player Alexander Volkov was shocked at his fellow player’s treatment and posted the video of the debacle on his social media.
He said: “What’s going on with this world, friends?
“A man is being taken off plane because of his height.
“And not just an ordinary man but a prominent sportsman who plays for Russia.”

A video shows police ordering Kimerov to “behave like a man and vacate your seat”.
The player seeks to reason with them that he should be entitled to fly, but then gave up, reported The Siberian Times.
There was no immediate comment from the airline, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Russian state airline Aeroflot.
But the story has caused shock in Russia.
Kimerov joined Fakel volleyball team in Novy Urengoy in January 2017.
Previously, he was with Moscow Dynamo.
As Russian team player, he won bronze at the European volleyball competition in Baku and the youth championship in Gwangju, South Korea.
